Sunset Beach is a small unincorporated community of about 1,300 located northwest of Bolsa Chica State Beach, bordered by Huntington Harbour and Seal Beach. Sunset Beach residents love their neighborhood and are passionate about maintaining a small-town atmosphere. From a single post office where residents retrieve their own mail to walking on the greenbelt, Sunset Beach homeowners enjoy an intimate, quiet pace.

A one mile strip of cottages and understated homes and mansions adorn the numbered streets of this delightful area with several historic dining venues, an historic water tower conversion, and limited available street parking. Annual activities celebrated in Sunset Beach are the Mother’s Day Weekend Arts Festival, the yearly Christmas “No Parade,” a Chili Cook-off, and the Mile Long Garage Sale.
