Lake Forest
Lake Forest is ranked as one of the safest cities in the United States and includes the master planned communities of Portola Hills and Foothill Ranch. Over 60,000 people reside in this city, located in the heart of the Saddleback Valley. The city earned its name from its geography, made up of two manmade “lakes” and a dense “forest” of Eucalyptus trees.
Between the lakes and their clubs (the Beach and Tennis Club and Sun and Sail Club), two county parks, Whiting Ranch and Heritage Hill, twenty public parks, and the largest public skatepark, Etnies Skatepark which offers 40,00 square feet of action, residents find many sources of entertainment. The recently developed “Arbor at Lake Forest” provides a large shopping area, as well.
Lake Forest strives to be a community, “Where Work and Life Come Together Naturally” by maintaining beautiful, safe, well-managed neighborhoods in a large metropolis. Lake Forest is home to public and private elementary, middle and high schools. Lake Forest information can be found here.
